Buis les Baronnies

Nyons

Resort classified as tourism since 2010, the city is also one of the 100 most beautiful detours in France and its olive grove benefits from the label "remarkable site of taste". Nicknamed "Little Nice", its high rate of sunshine, its mild winters, its astonishing brightness, its unspoiled landscapes and its exceptional quality of land, make it an ideal holiday destination. A rich historical heritage, the main jewels of which are the Tour Randonne, the famous Roman Bridge and the recently renovated Place des Arcades complete this portrait. René Barjavel wrote "The only difference between Nyons and Paradise is that in Nyons we are alive and well"

Orange

City of art and history, Orange shines with its exceptional historical heritage. Orange alone has 2 important witnesses to the Roman era: The Arc de Triomphe and the Ancient Theater, a monument classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.The "City of Princes" is also famous for its lyrical music festival, the Chorégies d'Orange, which takes place every summer in the magnificent setting of the ancient theater.

Montbrun les Bains

Ranked among the "most beautiful villages in France", Montbrun les Bains, the only spa resort in Drôme, has an ideal location surrounded by lavender fields at the foot of Mont Ventoux.

Montbrun is also known for its herbalism, its 16 fountains, its belfry, a Renaissance castle and its high houses with 6 or 7 levels, supported by buttresses built on the rock.

From medieval houses and alleys to Renaissance mansions, passing through all its beautiful and old squares. The historic center of the city, the Palais des Papes, the episcopal complex and the Saint Bénézet bridge are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Avignon is also the capital of the performing arts with its theater festival (created in 1947 by Jean Vilar).

Vaison la Romaine

Recognized as one of the 100 Most Beautiful Detours in France, Vaison-la-Romaine owes its fame to its heritage. Evidence of its prestigious past permeates the modern city which exposes the vestiges of the ancient Vasio Vocontiorum, capital of the Voconce people, in the open air. The city and the medieval churches complete this panorama where history embellishes the art of living of the inhabitants.

Grignan

Grignan is a charming village in the Drome Provencale built on a rocky outcrop, around a Renaissance castle whose origin dates back to the 12th century (listed monument and visited to this day). Near the "enclave des papes", Nyonsais and the wine route. ... The Marquise de Sévigné, a famous 17th century letter writer, came to see her daughter, Madame de Grignan, in her castle.

You can admire the historic sites, the castle, the collegiate church of Saint-Sauveur, the belfry, the wash house in the mall…

In summer you will attend the Correspondence Festival and the night parties. For a few days the village lives in the time of beautiful letters and reading.
